TPL coordinates the movement of goods using a variety of equipment types, depending on the cargo’s specific needs. Here are some common types of equipment that we work with:

1. Dry Vans: Standard enclosed trailers typically used for moving boxed or palletized cargo that needs protection from the elements.
2. Flatbeds: Open trailers with no roofs or sides, ideal for transporting heavy or oversized loads, such as machinery, lumber, or construction equipment.
3. Lowboys: Specialized flatbeds that sit closer to the ground, typically used for transporting tall or heavy equipment.
4. Step Decks (Drop Decks): A variation of the flatbed with two deck levels, allowing for transportation of taller items that wouldn’t fit on a standard flatbed.
5. Intermodal Containers: Standardized cargo containers that can be used across different modes of transport, such as ship, rail, and truck, without unloading and reloading.
6. Tankers: Designed to transport liquids, gases, or powders, including chemicals, oil, and dairy products.
7. RGN (Removable Gooseneck) Trailers: Designed to carry long and heavy loads. The front detaches, allowing the trailer to be used as a ramp.
8. Bulk Hoppers: Designed for transporting bulk items, such as grain, feed, or coal.
9. Extendable Flatbeds: These can be extended for transporting unusually long loads, such as beams or pipes.
10. Pneumatic Dry Bulk: Air slide trailers designed for fine granulated materials like cement, sand, and flour.
11. Conestoga Trailers: Similar to flatbeds but with a rolling tarp system that covers the goods, providing protection while allowing for easy access.
12. Ventilated Vans: Designed for cargo that needs ventilation, often used in agriculture for certain produce.
13. Roll-Tight Trailers: Flatbed trailers with a system of rolling tarps, providing the flexibility of a flatbed and the protection of a dry van.
