REQUIREMENTS FOR ONBOARDING

BOOKING A LOAD

ATTENTION: Please pay attention to website and email address domain spelling when inquiring or corresponding on a TPL load. All email address domains will only read as “trueprioritylogistics.com” only! If in doubt call our company’s main line: 321-999-9461 and verify the load.

TPL requires a signed Carrier Rate Confirmation and GPS tracking from the carrier prior to releasing the load for pick-up. Email or fax all signed carrier rate confirmations with the PO# in the subject line to: bookit@trueprioritylogistics.com or Fax- 321-900-0994

Carrier will forfeit the load without recourse in the event of failure to sign and return the Carrier Rate Confirmation and set up GPS tracking within (4) hours of receipt. The signed Carrier Rate Confirmation sheet will include the following:

  • The Driver’s name.
  • The truck and trailer numbers
  • The driver’s cell phone number. The cell phone must be kept on at all times.
  • All emergency and/or “after-hours” phone numbers. Include cell numbers for on-call dispatchers, owners, etc.

CHECK CALLS: How to submit.

  • Drivers are required to check call every day between 6:00 am and 9:00 am Eastern Time. This includes Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.
  • Missed check calls will result in a $100.00 fine against carrier’s settlement for each infraction.
  • The Check Call telephone number is 407-604-2607. Drivers must leave a voice mail message that includes his/her name, the load PO number, current location, and projected ETA. If the driver is unable to call, the dispatcher may check call in emergency situations.

PAYMENTS

Documents required for payment processing:

  • Copy of signed Rate confirmation
  • Carrier’s Invoice referencing brokerage PRO#
  • Clean Bill of Lading (BOL)/POD (signed by receiver)
  • Lumper receipts (if applicable)
  • Scale tickets (if applicable)
  • IRS Form W-9 (on file)
  • Any other necessary load documents with receipts for reimbursement

If you factor, please send all documents to your factoring company.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Standard Pay Terms:
• Net- 30.

Quick Pay Options: “Special Restrictions Apply”

  • 2 -days (5% off the gross pay of the load)
  • 5 -days (3.5% off the gross pay of the load)

*Quick Pay agreement required for each invoice submitted
*Quick Pay” invoices received by 10:00 A.M. will be processed for payment that day. “Quick Pay invoices received after 10:00 A.M. will be considered received as of the next business morning and will be processed the following day.

DETENTION/LAYOVER & TONU (Truck Order Not Used) PAY REQUIREMENTS

TONU:

  • Carrier must be dispatched on a TPL load prior to a load cancellation.
  • Must have complete load details to be considered dispatched.

 

DETENTION/LAYOVER REQUIRMENTS:

  • Arrive on time for all scheduled appointments or within the first come first serve window.
  • Call, Text, or E-mail your TPL logistics account manager:
    • Upon arrival/departure to any shipper/receiver
    • 2hrs before detention time starts
  • Ask the shipper/receiver to notate your check in and out times on the paperwork.
    • If they will not notate, notify TPL prior to leaving the facility.
  • Detention/tonu payments must be requested through the load’s TPL account manager or a member of their team.
  • Notify your logistics account manager at the first sign of issues or load changes.

DOUBLE BROKERING Disclaimer

Before engaging in business, it’s essential to be aware of our strict policy against double brokering. We value transparency, trust, and the safety of our clients’ shipments. TPL strictly prohibits carriers from brokering, re-brokering, co-brokering, subcontracting, transferring, trip leasing, assigning, or interlining the transportation of shipments to any other person or entity conducting business under an operating authority different from the carrier’s authority without advance written authorization of BROKER- True Priority Logistics. Violation of this policy shall be grounds for immediate termination of the broker-carrier agreement. If True Priority Logistics becomes aware of such prohibited activity by the carrier prior to payment of any compensation due to the carrier, True Priority Logistics will withhold payment to carrier and instead will pay appropriate compensation to the carrier who transported the shipment. The carrier will be liable for all losses or damages (including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs) for violation of this policy.
